If your are under 18 years of age, your parents accept these Terms and Conditions on the execution of the Parental Consent that is required for you to access the user generated contents on this website. If you are 18, you accept these Terms and Conditions on your first use of the Site. SCF reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. You accept all such revisions by accessing any part of the Site after the revision is made available from the Site.
Personal Information
To register you give us personal information in respect of which you have certain rights. By using the Site you grant SCF consent to use your personal information in accordance with the Livewire Privacy Policy and acknowledge that these terms and conditions of use should be read in conjunction with the Privacy Policy.
Password
To access the Site, access information about your account and to change your personal details you are required to enter a user name and password. The user name and password are used in order to protect your privacy and security. It is your responsibility to ensure that you do not allow your user name or password to be disclosed to any other person. Livewire Customer Service has the ability to reset a user password at any time.

Any information collected by SCF on the Site may be shared within SCF and its related bodies corporate, partners, and service providers.

If you use any link that is offered through this website then the policies of the organisation operating that linked site will apply to any information you provide about yourself once you have entered that link. This software does not pass any personal information to Livewire , SCF or any other organisation and is only used to identify your browser. All rights, including copyright and database right, in the Livewire website and its contents, are owned by SCF.
In accessing the Site, you agree that you will access the contents for intended purposes only. Nothing you do on or in relation to this Site will transfer any copyright or other intellectual property rights to you or licence you to exercise any copyright or intellectual property rights unless this is expressly stated and permitted.
You may view, copy, print and distribute material in electronic or other forms but you must retain copyright and other intellectual property notices from the original material. Membership
Only applicants that meet the following criteria will obtain Livewire membership
• are 10 to 17 years old
• have a disability, serious or chronic illness
• submit online membership application on
www.livewire.org.au
• provide to SCF a signed parental consent
• pass all Livewire Membership eligibility and applicant’s and parental identity check tests
or
• are 18 years old
• have a disability, serious or chronic illness
• submit online membership application on

• pass all Livewire Membership eligibility and applicant’s identity check tests
Membership Status Change
SCF reserve the right to suspend or cancel Livewire membership at any time.
User Generated Content
The Site may contain material uploaded, posted, emailed or otherwise electronically transmitted (posted) by users of the Site, including you.
SCF does monitor and exercise editorial control over User Generated Content and we reserve the right to access or examine any User Generated Content. SCF will remove the Livewire website any User Generated Content which we considers, in our sole opinion to be incompatible with any Livewire and SCF policy.
Where you submit any contribution to this Site or you have Posted materials on this Site, you grant by such submission SCF a license to use, reproduce, delete, modify, adapt, publish, transmit, or translate, any such work.
You warrant that the material you Post and/or contribute is not confidential to or owned by another person and that the receipt of the material by SCF is not illegal or defamatory and will not expose SCF to any civil or criminal liability. By accepting the Terms and Conditions, your parents and you indemnify SCF against all legal fees, damages and other expenses that may be incurred by SCF as a result of your beach of the above warranty.
You and your parents acknowledge and agree that
- SCF may remove material Posted by you in accordance with any guidelines produced by SCF from time to time.
- SCF has no responsibility or liability for the deletion or failure to store any communications or other content maintained or transmitted on the Site.
- SCF in its sole discretion and with or without notice may vary the Site or any part of the Site and modify this Site and the services available on it.
You agree not to up-load, post, broadcast or transmit any file, data, information, software, material or routine that interferes or is likely to interfere with any person's use of this Site.
Research and Evaluation
SCF is committed to ensure that Livewire meets the needs of the users. From time to time, we may undertake some research and evaluation activities with registered users to gain feedback and to better understand their needs.
The process will consist of asking users to complete short surveys whilst visiting the Livewire Site, and all information collected will be maintained in accordance with relevant Australian research standards and SCF Privacy Policy.
Registered users may opt not to participate, or withdraw from participating in these activities at any time. This will not affect their relationship with SCF or their use and access to Livewire and other SCF programs.
The findings from these research and evaluation activities may be presented in reports, conference papers or published in journals or media releases, however users’ names will not be disclosed .
If SCF seeks registered users to assist in media releases or conference presentations, additional consent will be gained from parents of individuals aged under 18 years or from each individual aged over 18 years.
